Our Story
When I first, joined the beauty industry in 2020, I had decided to start my own small brand of cosmetics called Levres D'Amour. I've always wanted to go to Paris and I love the French language. Then I had to think about how this would appeal to my audience. That's when I realized that Sasha's Beauty Bar would be an even better fit. When I originally named the business as a sole proprietorship, it was Levres D'Amour. I made the decision that when I start my LLC the official name will be Sasha's Beauty Bar. I struggled with the authenticity of this new name for a while but I had to be brave and decide. At this time I was still inexperienced and didn't know what to in terms of marketing, funding even more skills that could add to my caliber of experience. I knew how to do my own hair and my own makeup, so I decided to help other girls with theirs. I started making lip gloss and lipstick at home w/no experience or advice on what to use. A couple of months go by with no hope for my business. I then decided to add lashes to the menu, which would make things a lot more modern.
Half of the year went by before I finally find a way to get to the next level of this journey. I seen a commercial or add for beauty and hair school. I wasted no time doing research for a program with comfortable fit and signing up. While I was on, the waiting list, in June of 2021, I just so happened to conceive my first ever pregnancy. Of course I wanted to keep my baby, but God had other plans for me. So I picked myself up, wiped my tears, and started my new found esthetician journey at Aveda Institute-Manhattan and graduated with a 4.0 GPA of course.

In 10 years Sasha's Beauty Bar will have 2 or more locations in separate cities. We're looking to brand a lot of beauty ideas & products along the way. Expanding on all social media platforms will be our main focus this year. Building clientele and content is our daily and weekly agenda. Our clientele base started in Brooklyn, New York, then some in Manhattan, New York, and now were servicing Philadelphia, Pa and surrounding areas; as we continue to thrive our service areas will expand.

The whole idea was simply to help women feel beautiful with a natural look. Your traditional small enhancements, still embracing what were already blessed. You know, lip gloss, lashes, tone? Blemishes or overall skin health? These are among some of the services we provide here at Sasha's Beauty Bar. The idea is that YOU ARE ENOUGH! No matter what tone, shade or color. You don't need to be extra unless you want to be and we can assist you with all of the above, just say the word. My vision when I think of an SBB location is a one-stop-shop, where you can get your external beauty and your internal beauty addressed. You can address your mental wellness, stress, long term skin issues. You can sit in for a quick eyebrow or eyelash tinting session. We have over 30 services across the board, I'm we can find something that heightens your inner girly girl and curiosity!!!!!!!
